Aiden Dufort is an author of mystery, thriller, and science fiction who currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri. A polyglot fluent in three languages, Aiden enjoys writing stories in English, exploring themes of contemporary art, capitalism, science, technology, and the American Dream.
His short stories have appeared in Mystery Tribune, Close To The Bone, and the Piker Press, among others.
Aiden’s first book, The Magic Tower (a short story collection), explores the dark passions and crimes lurking in diverse fields, from art and jewelry dealing to sports, science, and technology.
His mystery novel, The Deathly Network, featuring enigmatic digital artist S. L. Babel, recently received a publication offer from a publisher and will hopefully be released in the near future. In this novel, art dealer Alex Hubert and journalist Laura Campbell unravel a web of crime behind the contemporary art market and biotech industry.
Aiden is now working on his second mystery and science fiction novel, The Ark on the Map. This follow-up introduces a fictitious bio-artist, Apollo Barton, who incorporates cloning into contemporary art, alongside the return of art dealer Alex Hubert.
